AL AMEEN ISLAMIC AUDIO LIBRARY - Musjid-ut-Taqwa Appeal

Due to the growing running costs of our Musjid, A special appeal is being made for LILLAH ONLY

As you can appreciate, the running costs of a Musjid & Madrassa are very high when you take into consideration the various activities carried out by this Mosque. Unfortunately, all this comes at a costly financial price when you take into consideration the salaries , the cost of running the Madrassah, the day to day administrative and running costs, Maintenance and repairs, ongoing renovations and building including periodical extensions to the Mosque.

We do not receive funding from any organisation, government or otherwise. Our only source of income is acquired from the generosity of the local community. However, due to the growing running costs the income is getting very scarce.

Hadhrat Aishah (radiallahu anha) narrates:

“Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wassallam) commanded us to build Musjids in all neighbourhoods and he ordered us to maintain the Musaajid clean.”(Ahmad, Tirmazi, Abu Dawood, Ibn Majah, Ibn Khuzaimah)

Hadhrat Uthmaan (radiallahu anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wassallam) said:

“Whoever erects a Musjid purely for the sake of gaining Allah’s pleasure, Allah will erect for him a mansion in Jannat.” (Bukhari, Muslim)

According to the great eminent and illustrious Islamic Scholar, Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi (r.a.) in his book Hayaatul Muslimeen, the above quote also refers to people also involved with the repair and renovation of the existing Musaajid regardless of the size of the contribution.

Allah Ta’ala says in the Holy Quran

“Spend in the Path of Allah” (Surah Baqarah)

“That (Jannat) has been prepared for those who fear Allah: such people who spend (in the Path of Allah) in prosperity and in adversity” (Surah Aal e Imran)

“Whatever you spend (in the Path of Allah), He will compensate it.” (Surah Sabaa)

Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (radiallahu anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:

“Allah Ta’ala says: ‘O son of Adam! Spend (in good works), I too shall spend on you.” (Bukhari, Muslim)

The abovementioned are a few quotes that highlight the importance of giving to a great and noble cause such as ensuring that the Mosque is functioning with Islamic activity. You have the opportunity to earn abundant rewards for yourself by helping us and the Muslim community. Prepare your abode in Jannat!
